"I’m writing this a few hours after an online CF Fitness class and I feel great. I’ve missed a few sessions lately and I’ll be stiff tomorrow, but no matter how busy life gets,

Christina works us hard and tailors exercises to our abilities but it’s the little moments that can mean the most - like realising I’ve made it through a set of reps that usually flatten me.

"Hey, a little message to say I've just finished one of my strength sessions after a 3 mile run and it hit me today what a difference I feel I can do the plank for longer than a minute without shaking and feeling sick :-), I can do my single leg deadlifts without wobbling all over the place, I've increased my deadlift and it all feels so much better.

"For years I had known that I could run but I also had that nagging feeling that I wanted to push my running on to the next level then I would need to do something different. I was aware what that different was and I had just been trying to ignore it in the hope it would go away …… Strength training!
Strength training to me was a word that I tried to avoid at all costs, I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know how to do it and I didn’t want to do anything that could jeopardize me getting out running.

That’s when I was introduced to Christina, and I was instantly put at ease. We had a Zoom meeting where we discussed my goals and fears and what I was looking to get out of working together. This meeting was not only for myself but also for Christina to see if she could work with me.
Christina followed up our initial call with a fully tailored strength training plan along with a how to do exercise guide. The coaching didn’t stop there, Christina has constantly been on hand to answer any questions relating to the plan as well as scheduled catch-up calls to discuss current progress as well what exercises I liked and disliked on the plan and how I can better understand them to enjoy them more.

Overall, my running has improved to greater levels than I expected. I now train consistently without injury, my endurance has improved and this has become evident in my most recent event where I completed the 5 Rivers Ultra Marathon (103 Miles) in under 24hrs.

Christina not only listens but she walks the walk too, having been a competitor herself she understands the need to be at your best and she takes that mentality into her coaching, that for me is why working with Christina is a no brainer.
